    Sadly it isn't original but I have always wanted one of these. This is a reproduction of the Colt Navy revolver of Civil War fame. It is .36 caliber. Also the same as used by Wild Bill Hickok
    Even more sadly is that is is broken reproduction version. But I did get it for less than the nonworking replicas and this looks much better. Plus with luck I can get it to work again.

      Added a new photo with what may be the balls for this cap and ball revolver. Also one for a civil war musket.

      The trigger with the hammer down is too far back. Maybe the hammer cam/sear needs replacing. Ck Dixie Gun works. Sorry. Jacky is back & a bit distracted

      Neat site. The good thing is that the cylinder is worth more than I paid for the pistol so I am already ahead.

      Have you reached the stage of popping caps yet? The brass wears fairly quickly where steel parts rub, so if you get it going & plan on using it a lot, I suggest grease for those areas instead of oil. Bon chance!

      Roy, I snagged a Glock 26 for whoever gives the highest bid. LOL! Friend & owner was a Nam sniper with an official count of 106.
