yes they are MURANO ART GLASS, see above what DAVE wrote. Very nice pieces !!
I was trying to see what was inside of the glass, and didn't even notice the big picture. The Fish!! Great piece of art. I have something similar, but two glass tips are cracked off :-)- D
What were these used for?
Pure decoration.
