This is my dining room, Art Deco chandelier. The manufacturer is Markel with the bottom glass by Consolidated Glass Works, circa 1930's. To me, it looks like it has an Egyptian Revival motif or design to it. The bulbs are actually period-type frosted gold bulbs, and when lit, it provides a beautiful, soft golden glow to the room.
Beautiful!! I have an old light posted too. I just love old light fixtures, you just can't find new ones as pretty!
Thanks. I agree that much of our currently designed objects, including lighting, does not look as beautiful. And many of these objects can still be used today to full effect.
Yep, mine was rewired and is hanging in my dinning room. It's not as big as yours, but I sure do love it!
