    Strange little thing...
    it's by carl teichert meissen, ca. 1900 to 1910 i would guess...
    comes along in cadinen color and mounted on a czech gilded metal foot with glass cabochons which might be from gablonz....
    never saw one of these before

      Would have to be a bit later .... 1918 was the date of the formation of Czechoslovakia. I think it is quite lovely. It's a ceramic version of similar work done with glass.
