My Daisy Red Ryder BB gun that was given to me by my parents back in the 1950's. I don't remember them saying "You will shoot your eye out". and I never did. The BB gun was manufactured by Daisy at Plymouth, Mich Factory, this was before they moved to Rogers, AR in 1958. It still shoots to this day.
