Another UNKNOWN lost Glass Birdie here. About 3.5 inches tall, and 5.75 inches long. Mainly blue and white mottled colors with some extra colors on his front chest. He IS SIGNED ON THE SIDE (not the bottom) with what looks like * JP 97 *. I am not finding anything here. Only thing I know for sure is it is from 1997.
Also wanted to say I bought this years ago just always looked on the bottom for labels or signatures. I never looked on the side. When I was taking the pic of this guy -- was only then I noticed this signed on the side. So now I always look everywhere ......LOL
Anyways -- any ideas on this. Was suggested that being signed on the Side was more of a North America type of thing....but I am not finding any thing on him -- So he is UNKNOWN
Thanks for looking, Hope you Enjoy my Birds posted today....LOL
Hugs and LOVES Back. Thanks for LOVES....Appreciated Always Gang !!

But not further ahead....LOL
The shape of the head, tail and overall bird body shape make me think it is Scandinavian. It looks like some birds I have, but mine are without all the cool stuff going on inside yours. But who knows for sure, so many artists trained in Italy, then move to other parts of the world to ply their trade. Nevertheless, it is a gorgeous bird, you're very lucky.
Still unknown, but found as couple more Birds signed this way too :
