Here is an Antique Chinese White Jade Pendant. It measures approximately 2 1/4" in diameter. Again not sure about the characters but it is Chinese and I believe 19th century,

jwendell, or one of the other Asian experts, might be able to help you with the ID, I just wanted to say it's a lovely piece.
It's probably 'shou' ('longevity') again.
There are at least 975 different variations of 'shou' on a very famous vase made for the Kangxi emperor's birthday. It's completely covered with 10,000 written characters, 9999 of which are 'shou'. http://www.christies.com/lotfinder/lot/a-monumental-and-extremely-rare-blue-and-5750300-details.aspx
If you're determined, you can perhaps run through all the characters and find a match. ;)
Beautiful pendant, the two sides carving is sign of age and quality :-)
This piece has better potential than others for quite some time. However, best to get it checked out in person by a reputable auction house. There are pieces out there molded by material that looks similar to nephrite and photo images could distort the actual presentation.
