Beer bottle? Ball (in cursive) on bottom

I am new to digging and recently found this bottle in the mountains of NC. I am unsure if it is a beer or soda bottle. It has the classic Ball, in cursive, on the bottom and B15 underneath. To the left of Ball is the number 53. It does have, just below the neck, "no deposit no return" on one side and "not to be refilled" on the other. You can find plenty online about Ball mason jars, but nothing about when or who they may have made soda or beer bottles for. Anyone experienced in Ball bottles????
