Looking for information on a possible maker of this piece. Never seen a necklace like this. It is not sterling but maybe a lower % silver? I know the bluish green stones are turquoise but what are the other large stones? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Again, this isn't my specialty, but something about the detailing of the horse makes me question 'Native American'. At first I thought, instead, Mexican (since geographically it's close to the SW US - where many of us associate turquoise/silver jewelry). But, the horse still seemed wrong...more Asian to me. So I looked it up. Turquoise, silver, etc are also common in Asian jewelry. That led to this link. http://thumbs2.picclick.com/d/l400/pict/251922468605_/Vtg-Chinese-Tibetan-Turquoise-Coral-Glass-Horse-Silver.jpg Unfortunately the item appears to have sold (so the description was taken down - but the file name implies a connection). Perhaps the person who posted it could help you with yours. Or perhaps one of the Native American jewelry experts can come along and tell me that that is indeed a Native American style horse...then I will have learned something else today. :)

It is not Native American. The type of beads, form, and way it's constructed all point to Asia.
