Swirly blue glass bowl. 14" across. It has a waffle impression at random places along the edge (pic #2). The base is wobbly. It has a "melted broken" center in the bottom center (pic #3). It isn't heavy, moderately thick. I loved the color and shape, looks like a big chunk of quartz. So, glass peeps, what do you think? What do I have here?

    Thanks for looking.

Difficult to know but probably a studio piece. Any signatures on it anywhere?
The melted broken bit is the pontil scar, where the pontil held the glass while it was worked.

Thanks for the love, aghcollect, and racer4four. :)

I didn't see a signature anywhere, alas. Thanks for the information, I know you glass folk talk about pontils, I just never owned anything with a pontil before! :))

"The waffle areas could just be Tool marks (??) as I have some Murano with the odd flat tool mark. So depending on what kind of glass holding tool they used -- could just be that ..........(throwing that out there).............or not, maybe for design

Thanks, antiquerose, yes it could be either, I suppose. :)
