Large office desk

Hello, I saw this desk and loved it, but I can't find out much about it. It looks old to me rather than repro, but the handles look a bit too modern. It measures 126cm long, 82 cm deep, 78 cm tall. The drawers almost go to the back with an internal depth measurement of 62cm. There is a back panel the same design as the side panels (pictured). The top looks like it has been sanded with an electric sander - it has the circular dents you sometimes find in floorboards - but the colour of the wood remains the same which makes me think it is not veneer. Any ideas as to date would be appreciated. and any ideas on the wood used? Or tips on how to find out?! Many thanks
