The pictures don't give the beautiful green color justice, but this is something I've never seen before and would like some information on...I cant find one like it anywhere. When you get sick of looking at the dirty ashes on one side, you just flip it over and you have a clean new ashtray! Super heavy and well made. No stamps, or anything to identify it. Its truly a work of art in person...6" square width 3 1/2" vertical. Its pretty large for an ashtray and holds 4 smokes at a time.
These look like Anchor Hockings large (6") square stackables. - Did someone just superglue two together opposite?

That is crazy! They do look exactly the same. I just looked at the seam and they appear to be blown together...there isn't any seepage of glue and the seams are as tight as it gets. They are super heavy, so it would have been a pretty impressive glue job. Now I am intrigued!!
Thanks for the comment! Super helpful...I guess it is still a mystery! I need to get a pro to look at it and see if they are just glued, or what the deal is. :)
Agree that they might be Anchor Hocking (or lookalike) ashtrays glued together. Look for the AH hallmark, the ashtrays are generally marked.
looks like a glue-up to me too. try checking under a black light as typically glue lines will react differently and show up under the light; do this is a dark room.
katherines.... - there would be no AH glass mark - these were unmarked
Thanks for all the advice. Yes, there are no markings. I will definitely
try the black light. Regardless, if they are just glued, its pretty clever.
