Neither one of these gold watches work. They are very old and the 1st one (Elgin)belonged to my grandfather and the second one (Lancer) belonged to my Me Ma before she was married. The initials "L" "W" stand for Leslie Wilson, which was her maiden name. It is actually a "locket" watch in which there is an old picture inside. I'm unsure as to whether these two can, or will be repaired, or whether I will incorporate the gold into other jewelry pieces. Just not sure at this time exactly what I will do with them.

I love all your new items posted especially your parents photos and this locket,I am really into the older gold ones and have a few but none as nice as this one.I have a few pictures of my Dad (we lost him in 2000)when he was young but my Mom is with us so she may give me hers someday but I can wait

Thank you Dottie. Do cherish all the time you have left with your Mom. My Dad died in 1986 at only age 66 and Mom died in 2006 at age 85. She looked 65. I still think of them both often and still miss the little things about them both. Oh well, that's what memories are all about. Also I have one more little locket/watch/brooch to post and then I'm calling it a night "posting wise". I've decided to post 6-8 items, then wait a couple days and post about the same amount again. That way it's no so overwhelming. Thanks again for taking a look and for your kind words. And also for the nice email...
