This is a very popular coin series in gold. The dates above "left to right" are 1910, 1915, and 1912. Pic number 4 shows the reverse of what these coins looked like. (tails side). Gold coins of the U.S. and of the world are my favorite coins by far. There's just something substantial when you hold a gold coin in your hand. The weight, the look, the "everything". Most that I have are encapsulated inside protective plastic slabs, graded by PCGS & NGC. which are the top two premier "3rd party graders" on the planet. They are assigned a numerical grade between 1 and 70 and with that, can be traded/sold "sight unseen", because of the respectability of these two top grading companies.
