been in the family for over 42 years - cannot make out the sculptors signature! i have original receipt and that says w. cambrelli but doesn't look like that on base. have looked everywhere on the web for a similar item but it seems not to exist! loved this piece because it was the artists impression of them 40 years after the film was made so they are all pensioners including greying hair and beards - hoping it's a genuine capodimonte piece - purchased in 1973 and still in mint condition

That looks like the mark used between 1925 - 1967.
there are 7 - look closely on the left hand side and you will see they have their heads near to eachother as they are whispering - there is NOTHING whatsoever with this mark or the sculptors name so i'm still in the dark!
W. Cabrelli ?? I think, but find any dwarfs

it has the Capodimonte stamp.the N WITH THE CROWN.SO WHAT IS THE MYSTERY.? YOU HAVE A GENUINE ONE & IT,S LOVELY. I THINK THE ARTIST NAME IS Cabrelli.THEY MADE A MISTAKE WHEN PUTTING IT ON THE DOCUEMENT.the M shouldn,t be there. at least that,s what i think.
