Ceramic cream color stoneware crock (purpose sauerkraut/picking) with brown/tan interior, 20" HT. Markings: Blue anchor, opposite side below rim is 12 (Times/Toman Wide Font, blue). Would like to makerr of crock--purpose of crock and year or origin. Guess circa, 1920-1935.

Gotta love crocks!!! I have 9 here from my family. Some really big ones, and smaller ones. Most of mine are Canadian (Medalta)
Thank you for information, will check the leads. Correction on my item: Number 12 is Times Roman Wide Font. Would like to know the manufacturer and significance of the markings (anchor/12).
