This was me christmas 1963 I was hoping someone could help me with the animal standing next to me? It looks like maybe a timely toy but I have not found it any suggestions?

he looks so familiar to me.....Poodle maybe?

..Or is he a Cartoon character....Like a Fox. Was there a Foxie Loxie or a Foxie Roxie back then. Something like that.

Looks so familiar but can't remember the name.....but then could be in left field with name too. those WERE a lot of years ago, even for me......LOL

Thank you all so much for taking time to respond! I know the little one at my feet is a poodle but the one standing up with that nose really does look like a fox. I have looked at a lot of foxes none hit the mark yet! Thank you again for all your assistance!
