Irwin Auger Bit Box Pat. 1884

I purchased the box thought to be a art box or calligraphers box...but after some research found that it was actually an Auger Bit box ...manufactured in Warren, Ohio Pat 1884.....no bits were included but it is a beautiful box after I reconditioned it a bit.....Curly Maple I think...it is one of my favorites...
