These Art Deco, geometric "Ring" bookends (catalog #17019) were manufactured by the Chase Brass and Copper Company. They were designed pre-1933 by famed industrial designer, Walter Von Nessen. A classic Machine Age design. They are in contrasting colors of polished copper and polished brass...developing some patina and they really need a good polish to make them gleam.
