Hello folks, Requesting some information regarding this piece I bought around 5 years ago on a state sale down in Charlotte, NC. where I used to reside. I see there's a signature on it but not sure if this is an actual C. Jere or not. Is been hanging on my living room wall since I got it, my spouse love it, but I have not been able to get any insight on it, anywhere. I, in advance will thank you for any info on it. I'm not interested on price, and the piece is not for sale. Just want to know a bit about it.

As you probably already know, there is no such artist named C. Jere. The company who produced these works, Artisan House, is still in business but producing their work out of China for some years. Value would come from a piece being one of the vintage early pieces. Comparing your signature to others online, it looks to be from the 80s, however, I'm no expert, someone else may have a different opinion.

this piece is amazingly beautiful! i recently became friends with the son of Jerry Fels - who owned the C Jere name and designed most of the pieces.
his son told me that the C Jere was supposed to be a completely anonymous moniker, and that it had nothing to do with his real name being 'Jerry'.
This wall sculpture IS in fact a C.Jeré, called "Magnetic", designed by B.J. Keith, who designed 90% of the C.Jeré line in the 1990's-2012 although much of her work is in the current line as well as the 1980's. She is credited with having brought the Artisan House Company into the realm of Fine Art. (per press release by Artisan House at her 35 year retrospect in Las Vegas.)
