Hand made wooden box app. 6"x9", contains 100pcs of what seem to be stainless steel razor or scalpel handles of some sort with slot for a blade. Box is very heavy, no writing or literature in box. Implements seem to be hand ground as there are slight variations in the shaping. 1940s?
Anyone have any idea of what these could be?
Just wondering if anyone has any idea what these implements might be.
Years ago, before X-Acto knives they made various craft and hobby precision knife kits. You could buy one barrel (handle) and the blades came in all sizes and shapes depending on the intended use. I doubt these are X-Acto but perhaps if you research precision craft/hobby knife you might locate them. I recall them being popular among layout artists and bead crafters.
Anyone have any idea where else I can search to identify these? Been looking for a few years.
Just checking in many years later to see if anyone had any idea what these tools are.
Best,
