My Mystery Lamp

Hi. First post.
I'd like some help identifying this lamp. I know nothing about it. Mother picked it in a thrift store.

The shade is all metal. I looked for marking, but didn't see anything. I have more pictures.
It's very heavy. Will try to get measurements.

Please share any idea you may have. I've looked at about 10,000 lamps today and saw nothing like it.
