Straight sided coca-cola bottles, made at the interstate glass company Kansas city mo, extremely rare due to the fact that the plant burned down on July 12th 1902. I am not sure how long the plant was open some believe less than a year. If anyone knows I would like to know. pictures also include three other styles of Coca Cola bottles all antiques. One is marked Augusta California. Another has 9100 on the bottom of the glass a B with a circle around it and the number 78 and 12 and 2, and the other glass says Kansas City Missouri, this bottle not to be sold, Coca Cola and nothing written on the bottom.

Very cool! I love digging bottles! I don't know if you research bottles, but apparently the maker of the actual bottle with B in a circle………Brockway Machine Bottle Company (1907-1933) became Brockway Glass Company (1933-1988)
      Here's a website I use constantly:

I've never found a Coke bottle or seen one with it written on the bottom :)

Extremely cool, i know they must rare because i can not find much on them or anything exactly like them on the internet. And no one can seem to be able to provide me with much info on the I S G CO... ANTIQUES. i wish i knew more tho. My curiosity is growing. The distributing bottle company is presumed to not have lasted even a full year. So that somewhat calculates the reason for rarety. I could quit possibly be the owner of the only two in existance today. How cool is that?

Anyone know anything about Interstate Glass Company K.C.M.O. burnt down in 1902. I can't find anything else about it online.

I think it is awesome karena! I am so addicted to digging lol. This guy has a website and he concentrates on all bottles from Athens, GA but he may have one like yours. He give dates and values also :)

The first link I sent you has some info on Interstate Glass Co. ~ Here's what they say. All you have to do is click on the alphabet you are looking for :)

?I S G CO…………..Inter-State Glass Company, Kansas City, Missouri (?-1902). Information on mark ID courtesy of Tom Neff. Rarely seen on soda bottles, including Coca-Cola. I have also recently discovered that this factory burned on July 11, 1902, and was a total loss. $50,000 was covered by insurance. Info from brief newspaper article in The New York Times, Saturday, July 12, 1902, courtesy of http://fultonhistory.com . Exact beginning date of company is uncertain at present time, but perhaps 1901, or early 1902.

Yes that is where i found all the information i have on the bottles. I was thinking about calling the other guy. He wants bottles like i have even damaged which mine are not. But he didn't even mention the ones i have with the rare inscription of interstate abbreviation and kansas city mo... have you ever talked to him yourself?
