Picked this up at Salvation today. Another of the "it's hung around for so long I got it for a steal " finds. It wasn't in the case either it just sat on the shelf for two weeks despite two half price sale days. It is signed on the bottom "Vetri" or "glass" in Italian and then some squiggles. Could be numbers or a name but it's not very legible. So I know it's possibly Italian but not specifically who made it. It's 10" tall and appears to be black or it could be amethyst glass. The design looks like fused gold sheets placed randomly around the shoulders. A nice heavy piece. There must have been a plant and water in it because it had soil in it and hard water scale all over the rim. It cleaned up pretty well with a soft scrub pad. There are a couple of nice scratches on the body which could probably be polished out. That's why I passed on it the first time I saw it. Too expensive as well. My friendly cashier hooked me up today because it was time for it to go. -Mike-
Thanks Ken :)..... It's a keeper for sure !
Very Nice MIKE.....Wish you could get a clearer close up shot?
Does your camera have a flower on it for close up pics?
Sorry no macro Rose, but I doubt it would do any good anyway. I know the first word is vetri but that second one looks like cool or scool or maybe it's an 82001 very run together and blurry even in person.
Nice vase mike, i like the dark color to....
Haaaa mike friendly cashier, they are so helpful ;-)

Lovely!!
Thanks Rick :)
Mike,I think it might be Michael Harris Isle of Wight Studio Glass. However, the marking isn't readeable, but this gold decor seems to me similar. The vase from the link definitely isn't Theresienthalhttp://allegro.pl/art-glass-m-harris-isle-of-wight-2584-i5335055367.html
Thanks for the info Ivonne :)...Gotta love the internet. So much misinformation even from auction galleries. I'll have to check out the Michael Harris glass and see if something similar turns up. Always love a new lead on these mystery pieces.
I'll be glad if I'm helpful:)
I wouldn't put the link if I didn't trust the seller. In my opinion she's trustworthy.
