Original Dante The Magician Flyer ca. 1930

This is an original and extremely RARE Swedish flyer for Dante The Magician from my private collection of Magic ephemera ca. 1930

"Passa på Dante Trollkarlen utbetalar 200 kr. kontant till den första person, som hälsar Dante välkommen till Stockholm vid Centralsta tionen I dag 29 sept. klockan 17.46 e. m."

TRANSLATION:

"Watch the Dante the Wizard pay 200 crown in cash to the first person who greets Dante welcome to Stockholm at the Central Station Today, Sept. 29. at 17:46 e. m."

This was a publicity ploy used by Dante. Printed flyers would be scattered around town. He was to pay 200 Swedish Kronas in cash to the first person to greet him at the station. Today that is about $24.00. In the 1930s, it was probably worth more. Consider how many people would go to the RR Station to be the first person to greet Dante. A great way to fill the station and get great publicity.
