Looks to me like a biscuit jar, anyway. 7" tall. Heavy glass, heavy silverplated lid. The glass has a "beaded ribbon" that runs around the hobnail and button sections. Does anyone recognize the pattern? Is this a biscuit jar? I'm calling it EAPG because of the stylistic elements but am open to another interpretation. It's really a lovely piece. Thanks for looking.
MYSTERY SOLVED: TallCakes tells us that this is A. H. Heisey & Co. #1205-1/2 'Fancy Loop' c1897. so yes, EAPG and this form would be a cracker jar. Thank you, SirTallCakes!

EAPGDepression, the cracker jar is beautiful. I sold it on eBay, the buyer told me it was quite rare and that she'd been looking for one for a long while.
