Probably most Americans don't even know the significance of Cinco de Mayo. FYI, it's to honor the Mexican Army's defeat of the French in the Battle of Puebla. Puebla is about the only place in Mexico that celebrates the holiday. In America, Cinco de Mayo is widely celebrated, basically as a day to drink and party and drink and eat tacos and drink. Oh, and drink.
The first two photos are of a pulque cup, pulque is an alcoholic beverage made in Mexico. The second two photos are of a tequila cup. Both are hand made and hand painted, both are vintage. Thanks for looking.
