Before and After :Fully restored leather trunk,for a customer.Was previously owned by his grandmother.
Leather was lazer Embossed to replicate the original exactly.
Fun project,but not to sure of its age. First one that I've worked on with this type of latches.

Hi Ben, great trunk love the laser leather embossing,so clean.You do wonderful work. I believe the lock patent to be Frank W. Mix May 11, 1875 who worked for Eagle lock.So we know that it can't be before that date.I think I have seen the other latch patents,can't find where I put them,I'll keep looking for you though.
