This is a really great gnome! a client gave him to me today in six pieces. i glued it as well as i could, and i'm very thankful that it's all there. it stands 17 inches tall, so it's a large one. can anyone tell me where it's from or an approximate age?

He is a fine looking gnome. Info on gnomes seems to be far and few.

This is an old post, but I have some information. I own 2 gnomes from this same family, one carrying a basket of flowers and the other with a pick. Same hats, same flowers. Your gnome is the 3rd in the set. I found my gnomes in Texas, one in Fort Worth and one in Canton, hundreds of miles apart. Now I know there is a third brother. I believe they're from Germany but have no proof as there's no markings on mine either.

I have one of these and came across this post when researching, same hat, flowers, face and bum on a tree stump. Mines holding a red ball.
