This is one of my favorites, he looks to be holding balls it rocks in his hand. This it's the signature that is on the diploma. The name Verginand does not come up on Google.

Verging do does appear on Google ... Marie Verginand.

Has anyone found any info on alfred vergniaud depicting him as an artist?
Found nothing, even in French... He could as well have been a gifted drawer (as many people in this time when photography wasn't usual) and never made a job with it.
Man you'd think someone's heard of the guy, or maybe another artist that could be associated to him. Well thank you all so much for the feedback. I'll post more drawings later.
Not exactly the Farnese, but perhaps one of the copies? Or at least the lion skin has been replaced by a cloth drape.
