    Hi
    Everyone.
I found this very delicate small pedestal vase last Friday at my local thrift store, i was think, look strange with this base, can't figure what are the mark at the time, think home i will figure it out with some magnifier glass, other then the number the rest was very small punch mark, shape like a flower, 3 green tad pole go along the the side.

This little vase stand 6.75 inch tall, on a 3 inch pewter base, 3.25 inch at the top.

    Thanks for Viewing.
    Alan

The EPNS means an English silverplate firm.

      S&W might mean Stower & Wragg ...

But I'm sure you can see that the mark is different to yours.

The decoration is called "Cairngorm" with the green trailing.
This was done by a variety of English firms and Bohemian makers too !!!

Stuart & Sons did a version similar to yours.

HI Alan.. it isn't pewter it's silver plate..the first mark are the markers of the and the 4 other marks are EPNS.. (Base metal being - nickel/silver)....the numbers..
are the production/pattern/stock number used by the firm to identify the item. The same number was printed in the illustrated catalogues so that retailers could reorder the item without any confusion....
Harrach and Stuart both did this decor ... And if you google Stuart glass peacock you will see lots of examples...below is a great link to... " how to read silver plate"

Hi Alan they are so difficult to tell who these are by but yours having a British silver plated base would lead me to say it is by Stuart . not Harrach .
