Univex Minute 16

The Univex Minute 16. Made by the Universal Camera Corp. in 1949. Designed to look like a mini movie camera, including a pop up sports viewfinder. This is the camera that pretty much made the Universal Camera Corp bankrupt in 1952. The body is made of metal and uses a plastic double cassette for 12 exposures. It has a meniscus f6.3 lens with sliding Waterhouse stops. The aperture marks of f6.3, f11 and f16 are marked on the face. The film advance is controlled by a lever on the side of the camera and the shutter is a small button just right above the film advance.

I was quite lucky to find this one with a flash, original boxes for both camera and flash unit as well as manuals and paperwork for both. Very cool little camera.
