The Patent Etui (1921??) was the first camera produced by KW (Kamera Werkstatten). The word "Kawee" was a marketing name given in the US. It was a play on words of the company's KW initials. It is a plate camera that was made in both 6.5x9cm and 9x12cm. I believe this one is a 6.5x9cm. The combinations of shutters and lenses are numerous. This one has a Compur shutter made by F. Deckel in Germany. The lens is a Carl Zeiss Tessar f/1:4.5, 10.5cm.
Pretty much a very small camera that is extremely flat when folded up.
