I have been told that this belonged to my great grandparent from Alexandria Egypt. Not sure if it is a stick pin or hat pin but would be interested if someone had seen one before

....Thinking here more -- Could also been just a Music Box ( Jewelry) Dancer too - but I do not believe a Stick pin at all.

Yes I agree it sat on top of a music box and whirled around :-) Photo is small is her head wood or porcelain ?
Thanks for all your comments. Yes don't think it is a Bols Ballerina as the arms are in the wrong position. I think it is from an old music box. Thanks again for your help all.

Your Welcome.....I first thought the Bols dancer, but then also the Music Box Dancer. Sweet little thing, and most likely still collectible as so many of these broke off or got lost. People look for these too.....
