I don't normally like to get bowls since they take up a lot of room, but in spite of the layers of grim inside and out on this one, I couldn't help myself (especially since it was a bargain). I could barely notice the design is made up of flowers and leaves. You could hardly see them until I washed it. The dark color is blue with an occasional clear spot. I count not find a makers mark, with the possible exception of the remnants of what might be a straight line "Czechoslovakia". It is mostly gone and possibly not even a mark.

Apparently all the discussion was deleted, but not by me. Not sure why. I didn't get a chance to read everything carefully either.

I am sure it was deleted by the board moderators, even in light of the fact that the comments were completely on topic. Apparently they also now moderate the "tone" of conversations in addition to moderating content. Too bad, as there was some good information in the discussion.

I love how I'm the first one to hit like or love on it since then. :P

As I stated in the deleted comments, this décor is not seen often at all. The only other example I have seen, was in blue and on a ball vase similar to a shape normally associated with Kralik production. That example was not marked in any way.

This shape of bowl is a shape which seems to have been made by both Welz and Kralik. They are found in different décors with both the Welz Royal Art Glass label and the Kralik arched Czechoslovakia mark.

Although not 100% sure, I would lean strongly towards Kralik for the attribution, but would like to see other examples first.

I missed this before when you posted it. It is a great example an infrequently seen décor.

Kralik in releaf pattern, the piece is stunning. I have seen this pattern in a few colors.
