Bought this out of an old barn here in Texas. We think it was for a hotel but not a 100% sure. The part you speak in has a label that says western electric and that's all I know about it. If anyone knows anything else about it please let me know.

Manufactured by Western Electric for the Bell System around 1907. Used for small farm exchanges up to 10 lines. You missing the ten cord pairs that hang from the bottom. See my show and tell I have one of these switchboards also. the cords can be found on Ebay or through collectors at the Antique Telephone Collectors Association. nice find.

Thank you and yours is in beautiful condition. Sadly this one was buried in the back of a barn.
