This rose bowl is an almost emerald green with pinky purple iridescence and one of my favourites. It seemed odd that the seller had photographed it with the frog on at a slant, however all was revealed on arrival.....the frog was immovable! I took it to the utility room, placed it upside down on the draining board and sprayed the neck area with WD 40! Loosened the frog without harming the iridescence.
Height 13 cm./5 inches Diameter 13 cm./5 inches
Thank you, nutsabotas......most pleased that you thought I did well on the DIY:-)
Love the Glass.................and gotta love WD40!!
Great Job in saving it (using WD40 with no harm), and getting the frog off!!
Thanks Rose.....glad you like the glass!!
Way nice Peggy!
Lovely iridescence Peggy... I love it!
WD40 fixes many sins! ;) A lovely rose bowl!!
In this case, Karen, the photography has enhanced the iridescence.
Thank you, Rick, see above :-)
In reality, Michelle, the glass is a darker, richer green than on my screen.....don't know if that means it's the same for all screens.
beautiful!!
Thanks SEAN, sometimes simple shapes work best!
