Thought I'd continue with another rose bowl, if a somewhat different one. It's my only piece with three handles and is a very pretty true yellow. In one of the recent Czech Tango Glass Exhibitions this rose bowl was exhibited as Ruckl.
The third picture shows it with two other Tango Glass vases.....a different yellow, a different style and a different maker, I think.
The rose bowl Height 12.5 cm./5 inches Diameter 15 cm./6 inches
What fun. Such a departure from the MOP sober pieces. I really like this one, and if I had just read a description I wouldn't have imagined it would make me feel as it does. Thank you for sharing!
Sincerely,
Lisa
Thank you so much,Lisa. Fun is a good word for it!
I've just posted a vintage light shade which is a mystery to me.....if you've time to look perhaps you could throw some 'light' on the subject. Pun intended, Peggy.
Hi Peggy, ahh its gorgeous, I'm truely envious. A true yellow which maybe uranium?? I have yellow uranium pieces which look gold on the bottom like this. Just curious..& uranium obsessed :)
So cool! I love the handles..makes it quirky not just good!
It must be a bit of a standout when it is with your iridescent rose bowls.
Beautiful Sunshine Yellow !!
~ Makes you Smile, and feel all warm inside!! Love the Color !!
wonderful the last picture
Hi, Fran, the rose bowl is cased in clear which is most visible on the base....that is what you see in the photos i.e. the base isn't gold. It is a lovely yellow as you say!
Time for me to 'fess up', Karen.....my deco rose bowls don't clash with my iridescent nouveau ones because they're in different displays in different rooms. I like order!!!
Indeed antiquerose, it's the nicest I have.....love your enthusiasm, thanks!
Than you, kivatinitz, for the lovely comment :-)
The two "friends" have to be Kralik, right? I am seeing too many similarities with my ones with clear leaves around the middle.
stunning!!
I think you may be right.....the smaller one was once posted here as Kralik but the person has withdrawn all his posts
Ahh I see. Thank you Peggy. So is it not uranium?
I don't know Fran, so sorry!
