Just found two of these 1900 Kellogg Intercoms / Telephones at a flea market. Wonderful condition all over, with intact Bakelite speaker and bottom knobs, hardwood case, wood buzzer knob and mount, etc. Looks like these were stored away about 100 years ago, most likely in then working order, and have been in safe and dry storage ever since. Can anyone tell me more about them?

The intercom looks to be made in Europe, the New Brunswick Telephone Company may have purchased Kellogg transmitters for there phones. This is not uncommon for Kellogg Switchboard and Supply Co. to manufacture there transmitters and put the name of another phone company on the face plate. I have a Kellogg face plate with the name Union Electric Telephone Company. with Kellogg patents at the bottom.

Thanks Tom. This is a great site and I'm very appreciative of your time. Interesting that this phone may have been built in Europe. Any idea what country? I've listed it in my on line store, "Gentlemen's Antiques on Ruby Lane" and will be cleaning another one up shortly. Stay in touch. Best regards, John
