    I just received this as a gift. It is 27 inches high. My husband bought it at an antique shop. All I know is it was part of an estate. Does anyone have any information to help me date it or know some history.

      I forgot to mention that it is carved on both sides the same design.

      Pretty obvious fairly modern machine drill holes and nothing special about the material used. Probably a tourist or decorative piece.
