This Trifari necklace is in mint condition. The colour is perfect for spring: soft yellow.

The necklace is marked Trifari and Patent Pending. I believe it dates to 1951 or earlier. I have seen some other jewelry on line with the same shape of flowers but so far I have not come across the exact necklace.

    Thanks for looking:)

Holy cow! You do know that Trifari Pat Pending was designed by Alfred Phillipe, and is far more valuable? That's what collectors look for. :)

I didn't know that. Very interesting. When I showed my husband this necklace, he asked if it was silver. Well, of course it isn't so he said that he didn't like it and it was worthless...

I believe in the link I gave you, there was another link to an archive of these Trifari PP pieces, some are considered very rare and quite valuable. Alfred Phillipe designed jewelry for Van Cleef and Arpels and Tiffany, as I recall, before going to Trifari.

katherinescollections, thanks so much for the link. I found a patent for the shape of the flowers dating to 1951. I also found several bracelets, earrings brooches, pendants, and necklaces on line but not one was exactly like my necklace. I will keep looking:)

Oh darn, I was hoping you'd find the exact one. I know somewhere I've seen a link to an archive of TPP/AP, you will probably run across it in your search. :)

Same here, katherinescollections. I have seen many similar ones but so far none like mine. Oh well, this will keep me busy for some time:)

I wonder if the flowers are stylized lily of the valley ( as a kid in Chicago, they grew like weeds, but are my favorite flowers.) How nice!

PostCardCollector, I think you might be correct. I saw this shape on the Internet and someone called it dogwood. It doesn't look to me like dogwood either but I think that the same shape, when put together, makes kind of a dogwood flower.

I would be surprised to find another like this! Such a great find, besides the beauty of it, it's a genuine Trifari "Pat. Pend" Lucky lady!

Thanks for your comments, shareurpassion. I am happy I found it. I really didn't know at first what it was, but it was different than all the other necklaces in the show case. I thought it also looks like lily if the valley, but they are not yellow. Oh well, I am not good with flowers :(

PostCardCollector, I just read your comment. Sorry for taking so long to respond to your comment. I am a bit behind checking my e-mails. I think you are correct. I also see the image of the lily of the valley. Thanks a lot:)
