I recently purchased these 2 saddle trees at an auction. They appear to each be carved from a single piece of wood and have a beautiful finish and patina. The images are upper and underside of each tree. Any information regarding age, history and/or country of origin would be greatly appreciated. Are they for making or storing saddles?
The 3rd pic looks like it may be for a McClellan saddle. Like the profile pic. LOL!
