This, vintage durable tool was produced by Kraeuter & Co. of Newark, NJ. It may be dated from around 1930. Still functional, and with a timeless design, it represents old time old-time USA quality of industry.
Kraeuter made good tools. This is an example of their "economy line". If the cheaper tools were of this high quality, what can said of their premium line?

That is true, Michelle. This and a few other vintage USA tools were discovered a I was cleaning out the cellar.
