I came across this Chad valley drum at a boot fair around 2 weeks ago and paid the handsome fee of £1. The drum has fascinated me ever since and although there are a lot of vintage Chad valley metal drums about I can not find any quite like the one I have or infact one in its original packaging at all. From my research I estimate the drum is circa 1940 but I do not know much more than that. Of all my recent finds this is one of my favourites
