    Not sure what this is, just looked interesting so I picked it up at sale. Thought maybe some kind of cane stick? Not sure.

      Probably a pointer belonging to somebody in the military. Armor.

      I would guess it is a Swagger stick, made for, and or owned by a US Army Full Bird Colonel. The unit insignia appears to be from the Mechanized Branch. As was said above, it could have been used as a pointer as well. Please add one more picture showing the dimensions of it, including the dia. of the shell handle.

      Thank you so much for your responses. You both were correct. I just found out through someone else who actually has one, and it is a Swagger stick and could have been used as a pointer also.
