Barn yard and shop estate sale find

I had the pleasure of searching through tons of stuff at a barn, shop and outbuildings estate sale the family have been doing the last 3 weekends. There Father was an interesting guy, he restored a fire engine he drove in parades, he built a pre model T car, built a saw mill out back and that's where I found this 1950's clock, it needs work but Ill fix it up. I believe it originally said "American Express money orders sold here" but that got painted over.
