    This is a very nice antique souvenir from what I believe is the Azores. I believe it to be a whale tooth ashtray? Sorry my Portuguese is bad. It is from Santa Maria which is the third smallest island of the Azores, known as the yellow island. This old whale tooth has been around for I know 100 years are more.
