Here is a carnival glass pitcher that stands about 5.5" tall. I believe it's Marigold on clear glass and it really throws off some beautiful colors of cranberry, green, blue and yellow that I just couldn't capture on the camera. Unfortunately, there are a couple chips on the foot. No matter, it still brings my grandmother to mind as if I were still a youngster. Love those kind of memories.
I received this in 1992 and there was a note inside from my grandmother saying:
"I've had this since 1933- how long grandma had it, I really don't know" then she put the date 1983, which must have been the date she wrote the note.
So, I'm thinking according to that note, it may have been made around the 20's? (No idea who the maker is).
Thanks for looking.
That's true nutsy. Thanks for the love, comment and admiration!
Thank you for the love junkmanjoe!
So beautiful! Love your memories as well!
Imperial Glass #671 c1923, aka: Star Medallion, and also Ameila; noted as a milk pitcher in catalog.
Thanks for your post , I bought one recently and was unsure of the maker so thanks to TallCakes for the ID
I love the pattern on this Share!
Hi Virginia! Thank you for your lovely comment as always.
Thank you tall cakes. There is sooo much to know about glassware. What amazes me is that most of it has no names on the pieces and you always nail it! Thanks.
Glad to be of help mhgcgolfclub ;)
Thank you Rick55, the colors on this are plenty, wish I could have captured them with the camera.

I just looked on ebay and funny, theirs has a chip on the bottom too. Guess that's pretty standard. You would think it would be worth more just for the sake of the age of it...this one's staying anyway.
Thanks for the loves Rick55 & mhgcgolfclub.
haha TallCakes has now been dubbed Supreme Glass Master by Katherine. I agree with that ;)
Thank you for the loves Sean and EAPG !
