Hoping to find out the maker of these silver serving pieces that belonged to my great grandparents. They are over 100 years old. I believe they are coin silver. They are quite large. The maker's mark appears to be DR (it looks like there is a star in between the D and R, but I'm not completely sure as it is somewhat worn). There is also a number 5 stamped and some other mark that is worn and difficult to see. We are located in Rhode Island, and I did find a silversmith Daniel Russell of Newport, RI (1726-1778) with a similar looking maker's mark. Also Daniel Rogers of Ipswich, Ma (1735-1816) has a similar looking mark. I'm looking for clarification if possible.
