Hello, I have a small doll that Im trying to identify the maker. She is approx. 5 1/2" tall with bisque ? face, hands, feet (well booties.) The body appears to be cloth, wig for hair, and has a stamp near the bottom of her back in blue. Its smeared or something as I cant make out what it says. Looks like maybe a Jad.. or Lud.. or ??? Underneath that looks like the word Germany maybe but its smeared or has "ran" together so Im not sure. Any idea of this precious little dolls maker and circa? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you! :)

Cute doll house doll by clothes likely 1920-40s . The end of bisque dolls . Without seeing mark hard to tell who made her as there were many companies making them . She is in beautiful condition . The maker is not that important as it does not affect her value to collectors on this little doll . Precious ! maybe you can get a close up of mark ?

Hello, I uploaded a photo of the markings/stamp on her lower back. Hope that helps! I appreciate your response/comments and welcome any further insight you may have. :) Thanks again!

Something isn't adding up as her hair appears synthetic and they would have used human hair or mohair and now I am wondering if it was replaced or she is a reproduction . See what is on neck ok . The body is one used on later dolls and those sold also as reproductions.

I had actually looked on the neck before but didn't see any markings or numbers. I looked once again just now and nothing. Her hair actually comes down pretty far on the back of her neck unlike some dolls Ive seen online where you lift the hair and the area is "bald" where the markings are. I was hoping I had missed something but again, I found nothing on the back of her neck. :( I appreciate your patience as well as your help. Any info is welcomed as I am clueless in the world of vintage/collectible dolls!
